Drawing Blood
Yes, I read that book two summers ago. It was okay; there was another book of hers that I preferred. It's called The Queen's Fool and is about a young Jewish girl who secures a position in the court of Queen Mary.
Umm . . . as for fantasy, have you heard of The Dresden Files? That's a really good series. Very funny and creative.
